Dave Konig - Writer / Performer / Show Business Addict

Comedian Dave Konig hosted HBO’s infamous late night comedy series Hardcore TV, hosted and produced the cult hit talk show parody The Dave Konig Show for USA Network, and won three Emmy Awards as host of NY Metro TV’s reality/comedy series Subway Q&A! He has made guest appearances on NBC’s Law And Order: Criminal Intent and HBO’s Boardwalk Empire.

With his wife, acclaimed humor writer Susan Konig, Dave hosted the national, daily comedy talk show Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace for two years on SIRIUS Satellite radio.

He began his career in show business as an obnoxious young child actor at the age of nine, appearing in several productions on the New York stage, including an acclaimed Off Broadway revival of Herb Gardner’s A Thousand Clowns.

As an obnoxious adult actor, Konig starred on Broadway as the libidinous dee-jay Vince Fontaine in Tommy Tune’s hit revival of Grease, and recently starred in his own Off Broadway solo comedy Hebrew School Dropout . The NY Times called the show "lightning fast, charming, insightful, and very, very funny".

A national headlining comedian, Konig appears at comedy clubs, country clubs, cruise ships, and quanset huts throughout the land.

He remains, as always, America’s Most Beloved, Living Entertainer.

The Addiction Begins Off Broadway in 2012!

Written and performed by 3 Time Emmy Award winner Dave Konig, with direction and musical score by Ian Finkel, 'Addicted to Show Business' is a one man comedic tour de force about the one addiction there's no 12 Step program for!

Konig cons his way into a starring role in a Broadway musical (even though he can't sing or dance), he talks his way into - and out of - hosting a national talk radio show for the Catholic Church (even though he's Jewish), Adam Sandler pushes him on stage, Carol Burnett falls in -and out- of love with him, and someone in the audience gets decapitated (really).

Coming to Off - Broadway in 2012!
